Room had great balcony views over Rio.

Such a quaint little spot, but it's like they expect everyone to be mountain goats. it's 170 stairs to your room! not what you expect after paying $2000. No room upgrade for me? shocking! not that I need extra space when the shower barely works and the coffee is subpar at best. disappointing!

It was just a decent option for a short-term stay in Rio de Janeiro with incredible value for money. The breakfast was a delightful surprise, featuring freshly made pastries and custom-prepared eggs each morning. Be prepared for steep walks to get to the hotel and room.

missingWrote a review on 25 Novsteep stairs
There are a lot of stairs to navigate, which can be challenging, especially when carrying luggage or for guests with mobility issues. The Deluxe Suite had a strong musty odor, signs of age with worn furniture, and the bathroom was in dire need of renovation—definitely not the luxury one might expect at this price point. Room service didn't exist during the entire five-day stay, leading to practical difficulties, including no cleaning and running out of essential supplies like toilet paper. The pool area felt neglected with dirty seating and leaves floating in the water, detracting from the rooftop experience.

Absolutely loved the luxury feel at L'Homme De Rio. The Superior Suite with Sea View boasts generous space and wonderful ocean views from the balcony. Mornings were stunning, waking up to that scenery. The rooftop pool was a brilliant spot to relax, providing breathtaking panoramas of the city. Staff went above and beyond, especially David and Lorena with their local tips. However, there were some downsides. The air conditioning leaked a bit, creating a mess on the floor, which was disappointing. Also, the room could use some updates, like fresh paint. Overall, a beautiful stay with some room for improvement.
